#JCarReads | The Other Woman

It was just a beautiful meeting of two people who were utterly in tune with each other.

the other woman 2.jpgBook Summary:

Emily thinks Adam’s perfect; the man she thought she’d never meet. But lurking in the shadows is a rival; a woman who shares a deep bond with the man she loves.

Emily chose Adam, but she didn’t choose his mother Pammie. There’s nothing a mother wouldn’t do for her son, and now Emily is about to find out just how far Pammie will go to get what she wants: Emily gone forever.

The Other Woman is an addictive, fast-paced psychological thriller about the destructive relationship between Emily, her boyfriend Adam, and his manipulative mother Pammie.

Riveting can’t even begin to describe this book. This book is thrilling. After the midpoint you’re literally either angry, on the edge of your seat, or yelling at the main character as if you were watching a scary movie on TV. Personally, I felt so emotionally connected while reading this book. The author did such a good job of really channeling how the main character felt to the reader. That being said, if you don’t want to feel emotionally charged, this may not be for you, LOL. The ending is a SHOCKER and after I was done reading I just felt such a release. This is an awesome, awesome book. I highly recommend it.

You’re never too old for your mum to care about you.
